Hi
There are clear and tinted windshields for different types of bikes.
It is my understanding that the windshield has to be lower than your sight of view because the plastic can distort images and worst at night.
So, why to get a tinted windshield if it is going to be clear of my sight of view?

Mostly for looks to match your bike.I have a lite smoked one, my bike is black . Makes it a little better looking. ![]() PLUS IT KEEPS THE BUGS OUT OF YOUR TEETH ![]()

A buddy of mine rides with a tinted Slipstream "Spitfire" on his Vulcan 500 and absolutely swears by the tinted version. So I bought one each (Slipstream 15" x 18" tinted shields) for my wife's VStar 650 and my Shadow Sabre 1100. He says that the tinted version is easier on your eyes by filtering the road glare especially after a downpour is followed by bright sunlight.
