Do you think that would really help with a crash?

This is really not pratical and if you really wanted protection which has proved to work 100% of the time only in a case of spilling a bike, no matter what posiiton.
To have a tersharea(basically a small drag or emergency parachute used in base jumping or extreme boat racing) parachute, basically a 4 foot round parachute that is connected to the seat when removed from the seat from sudden movement the chute deploys it slows you down, lets say if you were going 60mph, you would drop down to 15 mph, having a back type brace with rubber soft tubesI actaully in the trail test they cut up garden hoses) absorbs the grond impact. I have seen it down sveral times at 100mph+++and the guys gets up and acts like he just tripped and fell. Just my 2 cents worth, I am a expert skydiver 9000 jumps, scubs diver, base jumper-102 base jumps, and I love to ride motorcycles, I have my custom Honda Shadow ACE limited  I love to ride as much as I can.  Wearing proper gear is the only correct way, I hate bikers who wear shorts and tank tops, they are asking for death.
